This project involved the refurbishment and fit out of the mechanical services installations on five of the nine floors in Lansdowne House, Ballsbridge for the Office of Public Works. The new works undertaken on these floors as well as the refurbishment to the existing below ground Pump Chamber, Roof level plant rooms and open roof area. The existing building, which was constructed in 1967 was occupied on four floors and these floors continued to be occupied during the refurbishment contract necessitating a degree of out of hours working in the evenings and at weekends to ensure continuity of heating and water services for staff on the occupied areas
